JOB SUMMARY

Ezee Fiber is seeking a Procurement Associate responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating materials, equipment, and services required to support the company’s fiber network construction, network operations, and corporate functions. This role ensures the timely and cost-effective procurement of outside plant (OSP) materials, network hardware, and contractor services to meet aggressive fiber deployment schedules and operational demands.
The Procurement Associate plays a critical role in maintaining material availability, controlling costs, supporting vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist with the creation and processing of purchase orders (POs) in accordance with approved budgets and project timelines.
• Procure OSP materials such as fiber optic cable, conduit, handholes, vaults, pedestals, splice enclosures, and related hardware.
• Source network equipment, including routers, switches, optics, and access devices.
• Coordinate with supervisors and internal teams to procure services from construction contractors and field vendors.
• Track order status, shipment timelines, and delivery confirmations to ensure materials arrive as scheduled.
• Collaborate with warehouse and OSP teams to monitor inventory levels.
• Help prevent material shortages that could delay network deployment projects.
• Assist with material returns, vendor credits, and warranty claims.
 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience Requirements: Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in telecommunications, construction, infrastructure, or technology industries preferred.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong understanding of purchase order processes and vendor coordination.
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Valid driver’s license
