JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Director, MPC is responsible for leading the strategic planning, execution, and performance optimization of Market Planning & Construction initiatives across all assigned markets. This executive-level leader will oversee forecasting, build prioritization, capital allocation alignment, and cross-functional coordination to ensure scalable, efficient, and profitable fiber network expansion.
This role partners closely with Engineering, Construction, Finance, Sales, and Community Engagement to align market expansion strategy with revenue targets and operational capacity. The Senior Director, MPC will establish governance standards, performance metrics, and execution frameworks to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with corporate growth objectives. The Senior Director will serve as a key member of the leadership team, driving operational excellence, strategic decision-making, and continuous improvement within the MPC function.
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Strategy & Market Planning
• Define and lead Ezee Fiber’s multi-year market expansion and capital deployment strategy.
• Establish build prioritization frameworks aligned to revenue, ROI, and penetration targets.
• Partner with Finance to align capital planning, forecasting, and budget management.
• Develop KPI dashboards to track build velocity, cost per passing, penetration rates, and market performance.
• Identify expansion risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Operational Leadership
• Oversee end-to-end planning processes from feasibility through construction readiness.
• Standardize planning workflows and cross-functional handoffs.
• Drive process improvements to optimize cycle time, cost efficiency, and build scalability.
• Monitor vendor and contractor performance in collaboration with Construction leadership.
• Ensure compliance with municipal, regulatory, and permitting requirements.
Team Leadership & Development
• Build and lead a high-performing MPC organization across multiple markets.
• Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability measures.
• Provide leadership development, succession planning, and coaching for direct reports.
• Foster a culture of execution, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to align build plans with demand generation strategies.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure technical feasibility and network optimization.
• Align with Community Engagement and Government Relations teams to support market readiness.
• Present performance updates and strategic insights to executive leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field required; MBA preferred. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in telecommunications, infrastructure planning, construction strategy, or related industries, with at least 5 years in senior leadership overseeing multi-market operations.
• Proven track record leading large-scale infrastructure or fiber network expansion programs.
• Strong expertise in capital planning, forecasting, and ROI-driven decision making.
• Demonstrated ability to scale operational processes across multiple markets.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in high-growth environments.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret complex operational data.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience launching new markets or optimizing existing market performance. (preferred)
• Familiarity with fiber network design, construction, permitting, and FTTU technology. (preferred)

While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required daily to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to travel up to 40% to project sites, corporate office, vendor meetings, and other business locations as required.
