Ezee Fiber is seeking a Director of Construction with relevant fiber optic construction, networking, and project management experience. You will assist the Ezee Fiber Project Management team with tracking, reporting, and key metrics to deliver 100's of concurrent projects. Your technical inclination and your strong desire to establish a process will help you shine in this role. You will quickly understand the project flow and how the teams interact to accomplish the work at hand.
• Deliver telecommunications-based projects in construction, dark fiber, lit transport, Internet service, and fiber to the home from creation to final delivery.
• Ensure construction management teams are executing according to planned project timelines.
• Ensure internal and external customers are constantly updated on the status of their projects and delivery timelines.
• Schedule project deliverables with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Collaborate with others to create/streamline new/existing processes to achieve efficient performance with internal and external partners.
• Work with cross-functional teams to retrieve updates and track projects and status.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure all project documentation is appropriately updated in data repositories.
• Perform general data mining when required.
• Learn and develop an understanding of all systems, tools, and processes (i.e., reporting, capacity, and ticketing tools, etc.) that support the workflow of projects. Suggest improvements.
• Ensure that all projects are correctly invoiced.
• Ensure projects are delivered on budget.
Directly supervise one or more employees. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred but not required. A minimum of fifteen years of combined experience in OSP construction, fiber network deployment, and project management, including at least ten years in leadership roles and five years managing lower-level leaders or supervisors.
• 5 years of experience with GIS system usage preferred.
• Experience with an enterprise project management software platform such as Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to demonstrate organizational leadership.
• Must be able to articulate your expertise and manage many fast-moving projects concurrently.
• Must be able to track and report on milestones, what milestones are at risk, and why.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and personable

The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to travel up to 50% to project sites, corporate offices, vendor meetings, and other business locations as required.
