JOB SUMMARY

As the Analyst, Business Intelligence you will play a key role in driving data-based decision-making across Ezee Fiber. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining reporting, analytics, and data management solutions that measure operational performance, support revenue growth, and advance the company's overall business intelligence strategy. You will design and optimize Tableau dashboards, manage ETL processes, and collaborate cross-functionally to turn data into actionable insights.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and maintain databases, stored procedures, packages, and complex SQL queries — including CTEs, window functions, and conditional aggregation (PostgreSQL, Firebird, MySQL preferred).
  • Create, optimize, monitor, and troubleshoot scheduled ETL processes and data workflows, and own their accuracy, timeliness, and recovery when a job fails.
  • Collect, refine, validate, and prepare data for analytics and visualization, including reconciling reports against source systems when figures disagree.
  • Design, build, and maintain complex Tableau dashboards and reports that are scalable, high-performing, and reusable, and administer them on Tableau Server/Cloud — publishing, permissions, and extract refreshes.
  • Provide data-driven insights to identify operational efficiencies, process improvements, and business opportunities.
  • Investigate anomalies in reported metrics and determine whether the underlying business changed or the data pipeline failed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable analysis.
  • Utilize development experience with .NET, Java, or Python to enhance reporting automation and integration.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent relevant experience. Candidates without a degree who meet the experience requirements below are encouraged to apply. 2–4 years of full-time professional experience in a Business Analyst or Business Intelligence role.

  • At least two years writing SQL as a daily part of the role, with production experience authoring CTEs and window functions.
  • Experience writing and deploying stored procedures, functions, or packages in a production database.
  • Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, data mapping, and data analysis, including schema or dimensional models you designed that went into production.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PL/SQL, ETL tools, and Tableau (desktop and server).
  • Hands-on experience developing and deploying Tableau dashboards.
  • Experience building or maintaining a data pipeline that runs on a schedule — Python, SSIS, Pentaho/Kettle, dbt, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or database jobs — and accountability for it when it failed.
  • Development experience in .NET, Java, or Python sufficient to automate a reporting or integration task.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Preferred:
  • Experience in the telecommunications or technology industry, or another subscription or recurring-revenue business.
  • Familiarity with API integrations, automation, or cloud-based data platforms (Azure or GCP).
  • Experience with field services, dispatch, or contact center operations data.
  • Experience with using Claude AI tools such as Claude code.
